    My Dad had a bad day. I got to the hospital this afternoon just in time to see a nurse inform my Mom that the Nurse didnt have to divulge any info to Her, and that she had was not allowed to say "good night" to my Dad tonight before leaving the hospital. My Mom left in tears. I was fucking pised!

    No idea. I was on the phone with the dude in charge of the hospital in 5 mins., and had a meeting with the gal incharge of the nurses in 15. I was assured it WONT happen again. I informed them that that would be in their best interest.......perhaps they havent seen my vids.....

    :mad: That's not right. If seeing your dad for just a few moments would have given your mom a little comfort she should have been allowed in there!

    My mom had surgery a few years ago and she kept telling me that she wanted me to stay in the ICU room with her. Well one of the nurses heard that and she looked at me and asked if I wanted a blanket...or cousre! if mom felt better having me there then I was staying!

    She is. We have a line of comunication opened up now, and the staff is delaing with us in a way thats to be expected. We sat down with my Dads nurse, and He went over everything with us.
