Lube propeller shaft

    I don’t believe there’s anything missing in the OP . The propeller shaft would have the zerk fittings either at one of the U-joint caps, or one of the 90* shoulders. Check carefully to make sure, but I believe they did away with them.

    And I wouldn’t worry about which is stronger because In theory, the greasable joints have a hollow cross (were the grease is tunneled) which would weaken it, over the solid non greasable joints.
    But In practice, I don’t believe our trucks and the great majority of street legal vehicles will develop enough torque to make a difference.

    The ecm electronic controls help in mitigating some of the damage that could occur by easing into gear as some have noticed with a slight hesitation when shifting into forward (D).

    TOYOTA recommends drive shaft lube every 5k oci, me not so much

    Mine has two as well. They are both by the transfer case end of the drive shaft. You have to take that little metal cove plate off to get to them properly
