That’s a great alternative to the Motive “universal” adapter, nice thinking, I’ll be doing the same. Thanks.

Yea that one was a pain, I went with a slightly smaller/shorter Grade 8 than what was supplied in order to make it work. Most of my recovery work is handled by snatch straps since most of my adventuring is desert. I'm planning on eventually installing a 10K winch as an oh shit measure. The reinforcements are a must either way.

What suspension modifications did you do to manage this? And are they rubbing? I've got spc uppers and Bilstein 5100's as well as cmc think I'm good

I've got Fox factory series coilovers, along with a mild cab mount chop and rokmen race series uca. It needs a more extreme chop for sure. Also, fenders have been trimmed 2 inches. As far as alignment, I've got a shade over 2 degree forward caster.

Also, it does rub the cab mount at full lock hence the need for a more extreme cmc.

Plowed 8" of snow from my 1/4 mile driveway. Yes they make very nice plow setup for Tacoma's.

Took the trucks in to have the General and Nitto tires swapped between the trucks.

Full truck overhaul in progress. ARB bull bar and 6112 with 700lb springs. Last week of December we drove to Wisconsin to meet the guys @4xinnovations and got rear bumper fitted rig dual swing outs. Hoping to install rear bumper today

next will be beefing up the rear leaf packs to compensate for the extra weight and new shocks

new 17" tacoma wheels with 265/70/17 meats, stock for now
I added 887 springs instead of the 885’s I had on my 5100’s. I switched out the icon aal for the full RTX packs in back. I switched out brake
Lines and put a diff and carrier drop in. I also put CVJ axles for moderate lift in. Then I put on SPC UCA’s on and got an alignment. After that I added my Warn stubby with a bull bar, only one I could find for second gen. And a body armor rear bumper. I used the smittybuilt x10 because it was on sale for 200 off at 4WP. I was gonna put pictures up on here, but the I woke up from my nap and realized that was all a long way off. I’m goin back to sleep now.

PVC tank/15 & 16" horns, quick-d/c air chuck in bed cubby 24" LED light Bar (mounted to skidplate)A Headlights, foglights interior lights and backup lights all converted to LED (HUGE difference)
A few weeks ago, actually. I replaced all the headlight, foglight and backup light elements with LED units. HUGE difference. Also, mounted a 28" LED combo spot/flood lightbar on the top of the skidplate. WAY too bright for use when there's ANY traffic in front of me, but on dark, lightly traveled roads, they're amazing. Helps my 67 year old eyes to see where the hell I'm going.

tell me about these coils, was wondering about replacing my coils, just put in new plugs, could looked okay and didn't have any misfires, but getting closer to 180k, just thinking i should do coils too

They had good reviews. I literally just put them in and drove my truck around the neighborhood a little bit but I definitely feel better throttle response
