i’ve done them with the portable compressors too and that is way more dangerous that the jack under the LCA in my opinion. But now that I have access to the compressor, its nice and easy

 

Back when I worked in a auto repair shop I had full use of it after hours and weekends. I helped numerous TW members install their suspension lifts. Use of that heated & fully equipped 3bay shop is one of the perks I miss about working there.

 

Anyone want my Tuff Country front leveling spacers? Free. Prefer local pickup but will ship them at your cost. I should have them out in a week or two. Depends on when my suspension kit arrives.

 

Shouldn't be too bad. I have a garage and air tools and a jack and stands. No heat though. I envy a heated garage. Maybe I will borrow my neighbors lizard heater for a day.

 

My gearhead neighbor Chris is going to help me install it. We should knock it out pretty quick. My truck is still new enough where nothing is corroded on the original suspension. He is a legit mechanic and I am a mediocre helper.

 

Heat is nice to have but my personal garage wasn't heated. As long as I kept moving I was OK. I would prefer to be cold than sweating my ass off lol.

 

I’ll take them if no one else does… I have a buddy at work that would love them!

 

I have this compressor in storage back in Baltimore. If anyone needs it I can make arrangements to make it available for use.

I tried building my Ironmans the first time with a portable, the fingers on the compressor wouldn’t fit between the coils far enough but even if the did, I don’t think I would have trusted it…

last time I swapped my springs was tough too. I had the seat set too high since I didn’t math right, and with the IM springs being 728# they started to lift the truck before enough of the threads poked through to put the bushing and nut on there. I ended up getting it after adjusting things.
