Small 2.5lb (iirc) will fit in that spot between the seatbelt/seat/side pocket without any movement. No mount needed.

I saw that one. They looks pretty good. Still, 850$ is a lot. I didn't know if there were any in the 500-700 range

if you can weld, the coastal fab is a great low profile option that's cheaper

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I found mine on Facebook Marketplace. They pop up (here) every once in a while. Otherwise, Trailgear does 25% off pretty often.

I definitely had to pull 2 of the overload springs, it's still 1" high but hopefully will settle in. With kings set at 2" lift up front
Drives super smooth compared to the old stock springs,
    3 over 1 definitely works

Flushed clutch for first time. Looked like used motor oil coming out and what a difference in feel and shifting now. Installed new door checks so no more swinging doors.

Managed to arm the alarm (installed by the previous owner) while driving home.

I'm not sure if it's wired weird or if it's just a quirk of not having power locks, but I can't seem to disarm the alarm without tripping it first.

I look forward to removing it someday.

Made a stupid simple and effective tool to press in the spark plug tube gaskets.

I've got that job on my list... what size pipe is that? Any pointers on shaping the end?

Had only been 2300 miles since the last oil change, but that was nearly 3 years ago. (I just bought the truck.)
So, I had all the fluids changed.
Also, since the rear tires were from 2011, I swapped out the spineless 195 touring tires for 27x8.5 Grabber A/Tx's.

Fabricated up a plate with the old man, going to swap around what goes where but just about ready to start wiring in all the accessories like front lights, rear lights, cb radio and maybe bed lights. Turned out great.

Never know when you’ll have to step through something unpleasant! They’re more useful during paddling season, but they ride so nice I forget they’re there.
