I've got nothing of significance that I've been working on really to speak of. My little girl has strep, I think my wife is getting it. Filled scripts for em both this am, hope to stay ahead of it.
My wifes little sister called me today out of the blue and was like Hey Hunt, I'm moving today.....ok...cool. I'm figuring either can I use your truck to move or will you help me move is coming...I hate moving furniture. Nah she just wanted my furniture dollys, cool take em. Just dont ask me to move couches.

 

Last time I moved I decided to hire it out. Best decision ever. $1200 for three big dudes to handle everything. I didn’t have to lift a finger. Except for actually boxing everything up.

 

@RustyGreen found this in a bin of tools from auction half were rusted and cheap crap so i dug through and salvaged what i needed. Not really going to use it, was rusted up...took it apart and cleaned it up a little

 

If I order before 1800 it is here the next day unless it comes from Chicago.

When Fastenal was making a push into this area I stopped at the new store .

The short version I was told I most likely would not purchase enough to bother with so I never spent a dime.

 

Lots of neat things to be found in auction box lots -- and sometimes junk too.

I used to go quite frequently, haven't in the last few years. I should have an auction of my own.

 

McMaster - Carr saved the day for me many times over the years.

They set the gold standard for customer service too, when you call them they:
1) answer the phone
2) know what they are talking about
3) keep their word

Barrett Jackson Scottsdale started yesterday. I bought a ticket for the whole week so I can pop in whenever I can escape from the computer. Toyota had a big display showcasing the Pro Tacoma, Pro Tundra, Pro Sequoia, Pro 4Runner and the Supra as well as a track setup for rides in the Supra, TRD Pro Tacoma, Pro Tundra, and Pro 4runner. I was able able to ride in the Pro Tacoma, but I'll get to the rest later this week. Dodge has rides in the Hellcats and TRX's.

There's a small company in AZ called Hogan Built that rebuilds Chevy blazers and trucks. The celebrity drummer Travis Barker has bought a few. I've been eyeing this mint Blazer with KMC beadlocks, fox shocks and custom LS motor. Unfortunately, my lotto numbers haven't hit yet.

 

it seems really obvious, but you have no idea how many people expect exactly that.

i'll come in on the same day as the demo crew for a kitchen remodel, something that's been planned for 2 months, and they'll still have loads of stuff in the cabinets the day of demo, get all shocked when we say we need it removed because the cabinets are about to cease existing.

 

i kept him

for all the terrible things everyone expects pits to be, i guess i'm biased towards them to just to prove the world wrong. this one is happy as long as he's getting petted or is within a few feet of me at any point. little stubborn, but some of it is an age thing.

 

Like most it all depends how they were raised .

I have seen both ends of the spectrum as loving a K-9 as anyone would want.

Then some so far gone putting them down was a mercy to them.

Short haired Dogs are not my thing I feel sorry seeing them so cold in a foot of snow.
