look at that video objectively and hopefully you will realize you have some bad driving habits...a truck going 70 mph in the rain with bad visibility, passing multiple police cars. police lights are on because there is an emergency, please be more considerate of your surroundings. thank you!

What’s with the dissing on Florida folks? People are moving here in droves from all over the country. We were here first (native). I-95 in NE Fl (St Augustine to Jax) is insane. To many people driving way to fast.

That is the law in Maryland. Too many first responders and tow operators being hit or killed. He'll, people run into the back of parked apparatus while operating at the scene.

Yeah.. I was wondering the same thing. Nothing at all wrong with Florida and its people. There are idiots everywhere.. and like you said many Florida residents moved from elsewhere.
I live in Louisiana. Many might think that makes me a backwoods, swamp people, coon-ass. But ya know what? I'm from southern California, but I live in Louisiana. So obviously I'm much smarter than I used to be. :D

Mustang was illegally parked in the middle of the highway with inadequate lighting. I fail to see how this is OPs fault.

i did my own calculations, and with some rounding errors, OP was going about 99MPH at the beginning of the video

I'm surprised the OP is driving fast at 60 years.

I drove like a scalded ape also, but from ages 14-36. :anonymous: :anonymous::anonymous:

In my late 30s I had a revelation that my driving habits were making me an angry person, I was angry that traffic was too congested to go the speed I wanted, I was bringing that grouchiness home, and once it dawned on me I immediately slowed down and chilled out. Talking to my family, they all had the same revelation at the same age give or take, going all the way back to great-great-grandad Roy who eventually learned to give the horse a rest. Friends too. Most friends, anyway.

If I carried those habits for another 20 years, I know I'd be dead. If not from road rage, then from finally popping that aneurysm.

Just because he wasn't cited by police doesn't mean he couldn't have approached the situation differently or more cautiously and avoided it altogether:thumbsup:
And it sorta does matter what others think(mostly to him) when you make a post with pics and videos to..... see what others think:confused:

All I saw was a uhaul being passed, lights up ahead on the right side and water streaming up the windshield.

I honestly had my eyes trained on the right side I never saw the red car so I watched video again.

Speed beyond R&P for conditions and just a bad situation all around. Luckily no one was killed.
