2023 Tacoma Pro finally arrived, lots of mini mods tonight

Sweet! Congrats. I just purchased a 18 pro and am already going mod crazy as well. I think it’s going to make me more broke than my summer ride, which, luckily for me doesn’t have a big aftermarket market. Can you tell me more info about the water bottle holder you have there. My wife always has that big water bottle and that looks like a great idea!

I see wheel locks in the pics - were they from your ‘21 or Port / dealer installed? I sold my ‘21 MT OR outright in November while market was super strong and am patiently awaiting arrival of my ‘23 AT Pro (have full vin so it’s close) - it’s good to hear from someone who has made the same move and doesn’t regret it! The swap up won’t cost much at all, with getting a good deal on the new one.

The little details make such a big difference

 

I just got a 2023 and it came with wheel locks. My window sticker and bill of sale had zero accessories on it. wondering if its maybe a new thing for the pros

 

Wheel locks were on it when I picked it up. It did not show as a port add nor a dealer add. I never saw any mention or line item for them. Do not recall seeing them in the listing of factory included pro options either.

I would never get a full size truck again. I just don't need one but I agree, sell the black for mgm all day long.

 

I didn't think mgm was offered on the 23.

Looks great! I'm not sure why but I never thought about installing a chalk bag as a storage bag / bottle holder.

 

Tailgate lock is the oem toyota power tailgate handle lock.
I also added the sabelco tailgate hinge lock (anti-theft device)
Gasshole is a meso part to hold your gas cap while fueling. Which in not needed but some people like it.
The do have oem sill protectors. They are pretty much stick on vinyl as best I can tell. Thgey do the job though.
The step tucks up under the driver side back corner of the bed. There is a thread with pics on this site.
There are some Amazon knock offs too.
