Water is leaking in from somewhere. This is maybe the third time I've noticed. I have a water drip coming from the ceiling console.

My truck is parked outside facing downhill on my driveway. I have a sunroof and I have verified that the two drains on the front corners are working. I can pour a little bit of water in them and it does come out behind a front tires. But this is the first time that I've noticed this since having the center brake light recall done. So I don't think this is related.

I have verified that my sunroof is properly closed.

Likely a plugged up sunroof drain. If not, then 3rd Brake Light? There is a recall out there for DCSBs and DCLBs.

We've had one Volvo (2001) and two Subarus (2014 and 2022), as well as a 2001 Saab convertible. Never a leak even using automatic car washes. We paid no particular car to them, other the yearly waterproofing of the convertible.

Sunroof leaks were usually a thing with aftermarket ones.

I poured a cup of water down each sunroof drain and it all drained to the ground. The first couple times it happened I wondered if it was the 3rd brake light, but my carpet/plastic/headliner around the rear window felt dry but I got it done anyway. I think this the first time this has happened since I had the recall done.

Damn. You saying that you park downhill kinda had me thinking about the light. Maybe they screwed up the recall work?

I've never had a factory sunroof leak. 5 different honda/acura/toyotas all mostly parked outside. I'd heard it happening to other people on mostly 80's cars, but now I'm adding myself to the list.

No visor, I'm assuming the plastic deflector thing people used to install on the outside. But that's an idea. Will try that later.

    How come?

When I installed my OEM rack I just used the existing holes on the roof. Did you have to drill new holes or something?

the sunnroof drains may be working but how much water can they handle? maybe not all the water and the tray overflows

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Assume there are four sunroof drains, one at each corner. They all good?

do the sunroof seals all look good, or some getting dry? Perhaps they need to be lubed up.
