Lots more to come.
I want to install dual rear calipers on my first gen. Tacoma. The second set of calipers will be connected to a hydraulic hand brake. The problem is I can't find a mounting bracket...

Has anyone else already done this project? Does anyone know where to find mounting brackets?

See linked video for an example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjqeFEyaUxc

There is a company that sells a conversion kit. It's pricey. It uses parts of an FJ if I recall, and keeps the e brake in tact. There is no real-world braking performance benefit to installing rear disc brakes on these trucks.

I just want the added option of power sliding using braking for acute angle turns. As of now I transfer weight forward as I initiate the turn to unsettle the back end and use wheel speed/steering to control rotation. This is the proper way to power slide but I just want another tool as an option since braking can be advantageous to induce a power slide at times (like when slowing down and rotating for a very acute angle turn).

Its more for fun than for function. Ty

You may find that most here (in the 1st gen forum) are function over form, with a slant towards off roading or what has become known as "overlanding". Gauging your posts, you might want to take a look over at the street trucks sub forum and see if they are more in tune with what you want to do with your truck: https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/street-trucks.70/

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    Build your own brackets !

For what you want I have seen it done you want the biggest rotors in diameter you can make work .

The biggest calipers to apply to apply pressure over the largest surface area even so your going to have heat issues

Being Honest using Drum brakes and a cable set up with a long lever will give better results.

    For what you want .

    have fun!
