Well, it’s neato.

 

Smoked all day, rested all night for packaging/meal prep this morning.

 

Looks like breakfast

 

A man who recognizes this is as important as the smoke itself! Looks great!

I usually rest for 3-4 hours, but I needed this cool enough to move directly to the refrigerator

I usually do an overnight butt in the oven, put it in cooler when I get up, shred it at lunch break.

We had wings, too! I tried Frank’s Red Hot dry seasoning and it just doesn’t have the same kick

 

Add me to the "I had chicken tonight" club. Except mine was breaded and air fried.

I usually coat mine in Frank's and butter but tonight I went with rub only. Still real tasty

 

Oooo I'll have to add that to the list! I don't do wings much, but I might give that a shot.

My limit for spicy nowadays is buffalo. I used to do the spicy spicy shenanigans, now I just enjoy a nice mild buffalo time to time, I'd rather taste and enjoy the food stuffs. So, I'll have to add that dry to the list!

 

So.. many years ago I was into making all sorts or powders for rubs.. jalapeno/habanero etc... my dehydrator has plastic trays for liquids so I poured in a bunch of Franks and dehydrated it then turned into a powder and mixed with Ranch dip mix and used that concoction on wings.. it was a delicious experiment! I see now that you can buy Franks powder.

 

Classic Frank's and butter with a healthy dose of On Point (Unicorn for those who know...) is my go-to combination now.

I always skip the chester shirt sauce.

 

I'm telling you.. if the Vampire Rub ever sees the light of day you all will forget about the Unicorns!
