Things tend to break Saturday evening it seems, plumbing items especially.

The exception is my internet, it only ever goes out on Fridays - no service calls on weekends. :annoyed:

I try and keep enough PEX or copper fittings around to possibly keep me out of a bind. Worse case I have a couple Sharkbite caps. I can backfeed my cistern into the house supply as a complete failure option. The water would be unfiltered at that point, but better than no water!

I have about 1/2 a hardware store scattered around different places I think.
It always seems what I want isn't where I am though.
Most stuff is at the garage and almost sort of organized too. :anonymous:

I've actually been trying to organize my stuff like that. I bought one of those DeWalt organizers to throw all my small plumbing fittings in. I also have a vast array of green Army like wooden boxes I've labeled for stuff. Taking a while to get it there, but I'll probably never accomplish the task at hand

A lot of us in the southern part of the state are without power (hurray for generators). At least I got to go home early.
Should have gotten a photo of the truck on its side that held me up on the way to work.

For years I had boxes, cans, bags, etc -- finally bought some real bolt bins some years ago, they were expensive even buying them used. Being able to walk right up to a labeled bin and select a bolt however made it worth every penny.

I also have gone to using cardboard bin boxes, they come in a multitude of sizes and work great for pipe fittings, electrical supplies, etc.

Regarding the poll, normally Monday's for me, but today was an exception. I was able to break away and catch a ride in the Ram TRX and Hellcat Challenger at Barrett Jackson. I've ridden in some high HP cars and cigarette boats and these vehicles were right up there.

The TRX doesn't really do that motor justice, but it's still fast and the suspension is very plush and comfy when jumped.:mudding:

The Hellcat Challenger is a whole different animal and you can really feel all 700+ HP as the throttle is modulated. I would describe it as disgustingly violent and I absolutely loved every second of it. Everything about that car is just wrong in every way, yet so perfect. :D It's a damn shame Mopar is going electric for 2024. As a petrol head I'll have no part of any of that. :annoyed:

Only a few pictures today of Craig Jackson's setup, the Fox shock booth and my Tacoma waiting for the drive home. Adam's Polishes had a 10% off and free shipping at their booth, so I ordered a metal garage sign and a bottle of tire shine.

It'll be interesting to see what happens to the Hellcat sales numbers in 2024.
