Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
That's what I'm thinking. It had just lifted the truck about 15 minutes earlier...

I’ve got a pro eagle (bought it before the badlands existed). Super nice being able to not get stuck on everything. Rolls across my gravel driveway with no problem

Awesome pic. I like the air lines going to the wheels. I’m assuming it’s that way because it’s the only way to retrofit a remote tire pressure regulation? Pretty freakin cool. In that climate, getting out to air up and down might make it hard to keep your fingers from falling off.

    Do I need this?

Are you also getting a new belt tensioner? Mine needs one but the local mechanic quoted over $800. I'm waiting for a nicer day to just do it myself.

To paraphrase a line from Wayne's World, that Nissan makes me feel funny like when we used to climb the rope in gym class.

I just got the Badland jack and it rolls super easy. My garage floor looks like the surface of the moon and my driveway looks like tectonic plates. I don't intend to use the Badland offroad because it weighs like 80 lbs and has a huge footprint but the option is there. For my trail jack I was going to do the HF lightweight conversion like the 911 kit but instead I went with an OEM 4Runner jack + SafeJack extensions for the smallest package. Haven't had to use it yet, definitely not the perfect option for every scenario but close enough to stay small & light.

I'll be doing mine come springtime with a full serpentine and cooling overhaul. 2nd gen OEM part number 16620-31013 is right about $100 from online Toyota parts stores. It's the labor that really jacks up the shop costs.

My local shop looked up book time, it said you need to remove and replace the A/C to do the job. I called the dealer and they said you just kinda swing it out of the way.
Local guy I think was trying to pull one over on me, his mechanic drives a Tacoma and the owner used to own one. They know better.
It's so damned hard to find a good yet honest mechanic.
I can do my own work, but there are times I'd just prefer to pay someone to do it without having to make a withdrawal from Ft. Knox.

The SafeJack web page states that their 6 ton extensions are not compatible with a Toyota bottle jack. What extension did you get? I carry four 4x4's and a 2x12. I'd like to ditch them and use that room for other things.

99% sure Safe Jack says they don't work because you need to modify the OEM jack to make it work and most people won't want to do that. I copied the same idea as what's in this thread, 4Runner jack with the different sized shaft on eBay are like $40.
