My wife and I just picked up our Timberleaf Classic teardrop and we couldn't be happier.

First time towing with my 2022 and it wasn't too bad. Averaged about 65 mph front from Grand junction, CO to Chicago, IL and ended up around 14 mpg for the whole trip.

Now I just need some new tires and a a lift since the trailer is more capable than my truck

Man! You could tow that thing anywhere and not have to sleep on the ground. My wife and I camped all over the country for nine years. Went with a group of people and had a blast, I miss those days. But the girls grew up and don’t think it’s cool anymore… Oh well, I’ll stick to boating.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Slick. I am a huge fan of teardrops, keeping things low. I have an off-road trailer with a wedge tent, but they don’t compare to the ease of a teardrop.

Keep in mind weight when you get bigger tires and you’re towing. If it were me and you’re not in need of 33s or larger; I would say a set of 265/75/16s would be a good choice.

I only say that as after I added weight, bigger tires, etc. I had to regear and tune my truck to make it keep up at highway speeds. I usually drive about 65 when I am towing.
The truck would pull my off-road trailer or bikes, but the trans was downshifting like crazy and wouldn’t ever see the higher gears.

    Enjoy that teardrop!

Do you have the stock tires? Goodyear Wrangler is kinda suck in snow and ice.
Very nice Teardrop, I like it.
