Macs in Provincetown is the best restaurant out there. Assuming they’re open. Savory is decent for pizza but they might be closed for the season. Montannos is also decent.

Trying to figure out where you are from the photo. Is that the Pamet Harbor Jetty in the background. Ryder or Fisher Beach?

Is it me or despite this not being a particularly cold or snowy winter so far are the roads filled with cracked pavement and potholes? Much more than usual from what I see.

A warm winter will do more road damage than a consistently cold or consistently warm winter. The cracking comes from water freezing and melting. The expansion of water as it freezes in the cracks causes the cracks to widen. If it were consistently cold then the water would freeze once and then stay frozen, causing less expansion. Temps above freezing during the day then below freezing at night make the problem worse.

....Oh. Yeah. You're screwed. P Town might have SOME stuff open. But even peak season Truro is pretty slow.

:spy: I gotta keep an eye on the weather - heading out via pike Thursday, that's my plan anyway.

Definitely. The freeze and thaw has created havoc. I hit a hole on 495 south near Marlborough the other night that hit so hard I thought I ripped a wheel off. I had to get off the next exit to check it out. Something feels screwy and out of alignment now.

Right in between the two. I used to rent a house for a week every summer a little further down than that on Shore Road.

Is the vineyard open? We went back in 2016 and it was normal. Then we went again last year and it was $$$$$$$$$

But hey worth a shot considering everything else is hurricane shuttered usually until about Easter.

Provincetown is at least somewhat populated. Might be some bar trivia or something out there.

    https://ptownchamber.com/winter-visitor-guide/winter-guide-restaurants/

There are a few french bakeries to hit up on your way back out of there. One not far south then one in Yarmouth. But, that one might be closed - owner goes home every off season for a month or two. And the one just a bit south may very well just be off season closed too. So. :notsure:

You can order in from local food establishments and have it delivered or bring in your own food if you choose to.

No food trucks when i went, it was a massive pouring rain day, i went in December with my wife right before she had to have hi replacement surgery.
we hit up a few food spots and stayed the weekend, something she wanted to do before surgery, she is doing much better now, her birthday is next week she will be 60 so our celebration for that is Millwrights in Ct for dinner , then a trip to Nashville in the summer.

Very nice and glad she's doing better!

Yeah, when we went there were food trucks and a few of us hit BT's bbq? To bring food.
It would be nice if more of these breweries had food or better food choices. Imo.

Wrong one - there's one at the north end of the canal on the east side. Have to go over the bridges (or swim).

The only brewery I know that I'd go for food just because of the food is union station in Providence. Even the ganset brewery is pretty slim on food options. It's just not their forte. They have a head brewer and just kinda slap dash a kitchen as well.

Edit - nope I lied. I'd also go to nexus brewery just for food. But they're in Albuquerque.

Vanished Valley in Ludlow has great food(and good brews as well).
Wood N Tap does pretty well also(they carry other brews, as well as their own, kinda like BJs Steakhouse).
Checked out Hidden Still in Ellington.. while not a brewery, damn, the food was great, and they carry other locals.
