    All,

I have the normal (but annoying) dash rattles that everyone here seems to have. They come and go and I will get to them eventually (since the dealership cannot duplicate it in order to fix it). However, the center console trim (that surrounds the shifter - automatic) rattles and the edge closest to the dash. I have had the dealership fix this twice and it comes back a day or two later.

Anyone else have this issue? How are you fixing it?

Does anyone here also have a list of dash rattles and fixes? The dealership has done a great job on getting me the new TSB leaf springs and has a blower motor on order for me, so I figure I will do them a favor now and fix these on my own.

    Any help is greatly appreicated!

On mine(manual) there is a felt strip in this area when i took mine out to run my audio cables. See if this is the area where it contacts, but in reality the dealership should be helping since you could break a clip attempting this.

Also lift up the carpet plastic piece inside the center console storage box and make sure the bolts are tight, sometimes being lose can transfer to the whole piece.

You're cool with paying for 100k mile warranty and having rattles?

100,000 mile warranties don't cover interior rattles! Read your warranty!! Interiors are made of metal and plastic which expand and contract at different rates! I work on cars for a living and it amazes me how people will bitch about something when they think they can get it for free but magically live with it when they need to PAY to have it fixed!! It then becomes NO BIG DEAL!! Customers are a PAIN IN THE ASS!!!! GEt it fixed before your 3/36 warranty cause any rattles after that will be on your dime!!!

A little touchy aye? I did not read anywhere the op was whining or complaining. But was asking if there is a fix. This forum has become a bashing site.

maybe by using small squares of stop-draft (adhesive foam to seal windows) where you think the rattle is? There are pretty thin rolls of this stuff at your local home depot.
