Legal to bring here, but I believe they only made 133 civilian models...

 

It performed excellent with those tires. Wouldn't 40s require an even higher lift?

I also saw this mint FJ80 today; I peeked through the window at the odometer and it appears to have just 138K miles!

Carfax is letting me run license plates again, and it's a 1992, so the last year before the FZJ-80 with the option triple-locking differentials! Also, I was actually on the phone with my girlfriend when I was taking the pictures; I sent her pictures, and she said it looked like a Ford Explorer...

 

As I said before, I texted pictures of the white 1992 FJ80 to my girlfriend and she thought that it looked like a Ford Explorer; I told her that this was a rather ironic thing for her to say because the in Jurassic Park (the original 1990 Michael Crichton novel, not the 1993 movie), the tour vehicles were Land Cruisers. Since the book took place in 1990, they could have been either FJ60s or then-new FJ80s. As anybody who hasn't been living under a rock for the last thirty years knows, the tour vehicles in the movies were 1992 Ford Explorers; I found these pictures online...
