RE Poll: My dad likes spam, so I've eaten it. I had some a couple of weeks ago, but it's never going to make my list of favorite foods.

@BananaMan I saw this addition to a tractor like one of ours and decided I need to do it. Found this valve on eBay for $30, identical one around here is $129.

Keep it on 81 and 84 and you'll be ok. Get twords 80 to Williamsport and it starts getting worse than banjo's...

 

I wear flip flops around the homestead for most of spring, summer and fall. I've done a surprising amount of welding in them. It definitely has it's challenges.

Hell yeah! That's going to be a fun retrofit project. What kinda psi is your tractor putting out?

 

I have no idea, I’d say 1,200-1,500 as a guess. It has a small gear driven pump for the lift.

 

That valve should handle that just fine then. Pretty basic setup, essentially three position valve spool with an open center to return pressure when not engaged. Simple is good!
