AVS Rain Guards rattle

Hi all

Installed the low-profile AVS rain guards. Love them. Noticed on driver's side they rub and make squeaking noises when going over bumps. Makes sense as driver's side was constantly getting rubbed against as I roll down/up the window. WD40 did the trick. Now I am noticing when I go over small bumps that it rattles. Seems like the window rubber that is in the window channel where the 3M adhesive sticks to is bouncing against the frame. hence the rattle. Almost like the rain guard loosened the rubber in the channel because of the weight and constant rolling down/up the window.

Does anyone experience this and have a solution?

 

I got the AVS in track for a little more than a year, second winter. The rain guards adheres fine. I super cleaned the window frame before applying. Maybe the WD-40 did something to the adhesive.

Only used the WD40 between rain guard and actual window with a cloth so it wasn't applied via spray. The issue is between door frame and rubber window liner. That is the only place the snap/rattle is happening. When i press the rain guard firm to the door frame, no rattle. The rain guard is stuck on tight to the window liner.
