Yep, that makes sense.
I did some light sanding over the brand after I stamped them today. Put the oil on to see if that would help any of the darker ones to look sharp.

Its flat on the back aside from the stem in the middle. I'll get ya photo later when I'm less cozy. Next time I go upstairs.

 

I did that on one today.

 

If its a light burn you can sand off and start over. Most of the time you just have to go with it, press and hope its not too wonky
