    RE: Poll

Spam is the only mainstream product designed for human consumption that looks, smells, and tastes like reconstituted dog food and is made from canned bits of pork that are sometimes referred to by detractors as “mystery meat”.

    ^^^
I wish I could take credit for that, found it looking up the nutritional information for Spam.
Holy $h!t Batman, that stuff is almost up there with Mary Kitchen canned hash on the "bad for you" list...

Used as an emergency food it does pack a lot of calories in a small container with a long shelf life -- as long as you survive the emergency that is. :bananadead:

Negative on the Spam. I've never tried it and have no interest in trying it. I've heard it's popular in Hawaii. Speaking of Hawaii, I'd like to go someday and check out the Jurassic Park filming location ATV tours, scenery and such.

EDIT: oh, nevermind… I forgot you younguns and your fancy self dimming glass. Us old schoolers just started blind until we got an arc started.

It was a rarely used cheap helmet from Tractor Supply and the batteries died so the auto dimming didn't work. They weren't too common so I just went and bought a Lincoln that takes AAA batteries. I keep plenty of those around here...

Some of these things get pretty complicated. I ordered a brand new Miller at work that looked pretty sweet (and was $$$, thanks Uncle Fred!). It wouldn't dim properly at all, so I just went back to my old helmet for like 6 months. Decided to re-visit it one day and as it has all digital controls stupid me had the sensitivity all wrong  It's still pretty finicky especially if you have a cherry on the end of the mig wire after just welding. However the visibility is top notch. Works good on striking a stick rod too.

They have to lock it up.
We've gone to Kauai 3 times for my wife's conference and I've briefly looked into the filming location tour but haven't done it. I have hiked the NaPali Coast, which is shown in multiple films. I highly recommend it.

Day started off pretty good but quickly went downhill around 11. Got a sharp pain in my back which then turned to losing all feeling in hands and feet. Ended up in the ER with kidney stones. Never had them before and hope to never have them again. Was there for about 3 hours and it passed and I was ready to go home. All is well now.

I had just one long ago in my case it felt like someone was beating on my Lower back with a base ball bat.

They gave me a shot of I think was Demirole something like that pain was gone I was flirting with the nurses.

By morning I passed the stone. The worst part was not having any idea what was causing the pain

Yes, as emergency food. I’m not much for canned meats.
