I understand why you’d do that but it seems that all the blue plates on NY roads are terrible drivers. Sounds risky.

I used to be Dutchess County(Poughkeepsie) but have moved up to Ulster and now drive a Ram, but still frequent the forum quite a bit, as I still have my dad's taco to take care of.

Moving forward…a friend of mine asked me if i wanted my bumper powder coated. “Sure, that’d be great, but i’m not gonna be able to afford it at the moment.”
    His reply, “FREEBIE”
So now we’re lookin better up front.

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
You’re supposed to upgrade your circumstances when you leave this shithole, not make a lateral move.

Did you fab up that propane bottle mount? That’s exactly how I want to mount mine above the roto pax just like that.

Yes. All the work was done by me. It should work out pretty good. this one is to be a prototype out of 1/8” steel, then after using for a while it will be redone in aluminum for weight savings. The only concern i have at the moment is the tank is wide open to the weather. Not a problem mostly, but when you throw salt around like NYS, it tends to cause problems where you would or wouldn’t expect.

No big projects coming up for me but I do have DD fogs, sound mat and a new cb to install.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I am on the east side of the Northway. Only about five miles of 87.
I used a poor man’s flashing from Hope Depot and layered it all over the cab…..roof, floor, inside and outside skin of doors also. I love it for improvement.

Got a couple snow-wheeling runs in, even with pretty minimal snow so far in the Southern ADKs. Working hard to find trails that don't get turned into snowmobile trails once snow flies. Also, a late Merry Christmas to my fellow NY Tacoma owners!

Man that looks like some great fun. I feel you when it comes to trying to find trails that don't turn into snowmobile trails, I spent the past weekend by Gore poking around to see what I could find but no real luck unfortunately.

Yeah, even that pic in the deeper stuff was just a short sled trail that I beat the groomer to after the first snow. I'm hoping to make a career move out west in the spring, can't wait to see how different it is out there for trail availability.
