@Jerez (or anyone else) - is there a drawing/diagram of all the LEDs and the stock colors? Asking because I plan to try this myself on my 2015 and I might want to change some of the other lights besides the backlight. Figure if there is a drawing out there it would help plan. So far I haven't found one, and I've tried to read all 89 pages of this thread but didn't see one here either.

Or alternatively if you just have a photo of the 13-15 circuit board and then we can make a drawing. I'd go take mine apart but it's my daily and I can't take it down for fun (plus it's about to be negative degrees here soon so yeah).

Thanks in advance if you have something like this!

I’m sorry if this isn’t really any help, but if you take your gauge cluster out, the piece with all the numbers for you gauges is just a thin plastic piece, and the part where the light shines through is somewhat see through. So if you hold it up to light, you can see how many other LEDs you’ll need to replace. As far as color, I think they’re all either green or orange, aside from your high beam indicator which is blue. I ordered 100 LEDs, fried a few, and still have about 30-40 leftover after doing the back lighting and every indicator. Can easily be done in one night if you’re confident in yourself lol

Thanks but this isn't what I'm looking for. I understand I can take it apart and look at it myself, I'm trying to see if there are photos available so I don't have to take it apart multiple times. I worked at an electronics factory as a technician for many years so the soldering part is child's play, not concerned about that.

Thanks appreciate anything you can find. Closest I found in this thread was post #1149 but it's difficult to make out due to the resolution. Again appreciate anything you have, I'm just trying to plan ahead without taking my dash apart multiple times. Cheers.

@Jerez will it cause any other lights to not work if I remove the TPMS led and the Seat belt led? I'm getting ready to do this and was just thinking how much I hate the TPMS light, The previous owner sold the stock tires and sensors:mad: and I'm to cheap to buy new lol

Yeah for sure. If anything, you can go just plug in the circuit board to test the LEDs periodically as you’re putting them on to make sure the ones you want work correctly.

@Jerez ever looked into doing the over head display?

yea like 14 years ago :anonymous:
Last I heard you can change the display lcd itself with one of a ford expedition from the early 2000s and it will light up that color
The color is in the lcd itself
    Sucks

Thanks for the info, I dug around some more and found out that they were not able to be changed. I will look into the ford lcd.

@Jerez Sorry to keep bugging you but I have one more question. I swapped out all of my acc switches to led bulbs except for the A-Trac under the climate controls. It appears to have a surface mount led in it. Do you know what size it is? I assume its a 1206 but wanted to see if you knew.
