Is the furnace gas or oil? What is the stove?

I've done a mod or two
Furnace is natural gas, heating oil systems are nearly non-existent in the west... I've seen exactly one in 27years, and it was in a weird house that a dude built entirely himself 60 years ago. Stove/oven are electric, but that thing is a piece of shit and I will replace it with a gas cooktop eventually.

So it was basically a 1,500-pound jigsaw puzzle with a title?

Our house in Oak Harbor had a gas furnace (no A/C but could have been added) and the original electric range with coil burners from 1988. It was not a cheapo range for it's time, featuring self-cleaning and all that, and it worked great. However, it was 12 years old when we moved into the house and just looked dated. It was that bisque/cream color that was popular back then, but it worked, and the house was a rental.

It was a 1973 regular beetle, was a complete rust free car from Texas. It was a joy to take things apart without having bolts breaking or chunks of the body falling out.

    Also, electric baseboard?

    :spending:

My friend's parents had a small 3-bedroom, 1-story vacation home in the Poconos that was less than 1,060 square feet and had electric baseboard heat. The winter of 2017-2018 was particularly cold, and in December 2017, their electric bill was like $700!

That’s one very pleasant thing about Eastern Washington. Our power and gas are very cheap in comparison with neighboring states and western Washington. That said that’s just the guest bedroom so it’s not in use very often. I’ve never had a combination water and garbage bill over $110 and I’ve been very fortunate not to have a power and gas bill over 200.

I went back to Double Visions, with two of my friends, for the first time in almost seven years! Yes, I went to a strip club; Amanda knows I went to a strip club and was fine with it. I got two lap dances from two difference girls, and I paid all in cash!

I have used the credit card to pay for dinner at a strip club before (I forget which one), but I've always paid cash for beer and dances...

If you have a GF or Wife always use cash in the strip clubs.

    Never been to one.
But I can’t imagine any other form of payment other than cash.

It’s not that I’m against it, I’m all for them.
But the return on investment is pretty low. Practically 0.
    Count me out.

On the plus side, that is still better than the fabled "loser's lunch"

Technically you probably still could. Thing is you need to install a beam and that costs thousands, so it comes down to not "can you" but "how much does it cost and is it worth it to you?" I've not done it but know about the general subject a bit.

I had a nice closet about 5 feet deep as a kid and this is true, though I'm sure being a kid it was inevitable regardless. My folks had about a 7 foot closet in that house but it was walked through to get to the master bath.

That's a good lady. An old girlfriend forbade it and said she considered it cheating..seems dumb but I respected her wish.

Fun once in a great while perhaps but I've never been the type to drink excessively at such a place or throw around hundreds of dollars in a night. Though long ago my friend's uncle DJed at a club and he'd get us in free plus order drinks. Cinco de Mayo was fun at least what I recall..

Would taking her (girlfriend) with you to the club be an option?
I had a friend that dated a girl and she loved going to the club with him.

They always wanted to take me, but he passed away before we ever went.
He said it was one of those things every guy needs to experience.
Knowing me and how I don’t like to “waste”, he said it was all on him. Wouldn’t cost me anything.
I consider it, but we never got around to it.

    Still miss they guy.
    Wild times. Miss those days.
