I decided to go on a ride after the gym today, rode by the coast and ate lunch near the beach.

I wish I could find the pics of when I bought it, rattle canned silver. Got it like 16 years ago? 1996 Suzuki GSX600F (Katana)

I think this was the original color scheme because the tank was this color but the rest was silver.

I looked at a katana, but the tank was leaking. On the test ride i almost dropped it, and when I got off my leg was wet with gas. Also at the time, a 600 scared me.

The GS500 that i had, I bought it Baltimore, and made my friend ride it back to VA (2hrs) on 95 because I couldn't ride on the highway or over 40mph. But once I got it home, I learned really quickly, and had it sold within 4 months, so I could get a F4i. Funny how that turned out..

Lol my first bike I bought in NYC in Manhattan. My buddy brought his SUV and trailer to Newark to his buddies, we all drove in without the trailer, and his buddy rode it out of the city for me and we loaded it on the trailer in Newark. Crazy thinking about it now.

I don't have an actual pic but I lifted this one off the internet. Suzuki ts500. I rode this on the street before I ever had a car.

SW Motech stand! Probably my favorite mod on the bike, and the reason I didn't go with a Triumph Tiger 660 Sport (I refuse to get a bike with luggage and no center stand).

I'm with ya, I will never own another bike without a center stand. At least with the bonneville I just bought it was an option. Even though I think it's bs that they charge extra for that.

My first was an old Sears minibike. It had a 5hp Briggs & Stratton lawn mower engine with centrifugal clutch. This pic is identical to it but not the actual bike. Think I was 8 or 9 when I started riding it. I remember one of the first times getting on I whisky throttled into a big rock in our front yard which slightly bent the fork

You could ask them for the crate. They might include it in the sale.

My first bike was a mini bike with a 3.5 hp Briggs engine. I wish I had a picture of it, but to give you an idea of what it looked like, it was identical to the mini bike Loyd and Harry rode in Dumb and Dumber, minus the wheely bar and basket. My twin bother and I used to ride it around our neighborhood. We probably looked just like Loyd and Harry, haha.

My first “bike” was the ‘84 Honda ATC70.
My first motorcycle was a ‘79 Yamaha XS750 that was originally my father’s. I learned to ride on it and only dropped it once on a slow speed left hand turn into a driveway on a seep incline.

I still have both in my garage.

My actual first bike was a Kawi. 1981 GPZ-750 with a 900cc wiseco big bore kit, Yoshimura header, flat slide carbs and +1 tooth rear sprocket. Traded my 1974 Dodge Challenger even up for it. Stupid move in retrospect getting rid of both......
