yeah where it rolled into his Jeep. I edited my comment with a screenshot, I think actually what saved them was probably just the structural integrity of the sides of the LC.

This is the fun of having kids in classes. My coworkers wife is a kinder teacher at one of our schools and there isn't a single week I've seen her that she isn't battling some ailment.

yeah this is our first fall/winter with her in school, so it makes sense. According to the urgent care we took her too a couple weeks ago, the doc said this is one of the worst years she's seen as far as kids getting sick over and over.

Sometimes viruses and bugs are like that; they can wax and wane over time. Hopefully you’ll beat it for good soon though.

It is certainly more rough than the past couple years with only the one real concern. This year flu and RSV are really hitting strong and the regular cold isn't a fun one either (some people battling it for 2 weeks)

what's funny too is it seems we're getting everything but covid. Haven't had it yet in all this time. At least all tests are always negative. But then again I know that's not always the sure way to tell. My mother in law got covid over xmas and it didn't show up until her 6th or 7th home test.

Yeah, I mean I don't dislike kids or anything, but I have no desire to immerse myself into a classroom full of them everyday, or have one in my house ever. I prefer having an admin job haha.

The teachers rarely seem to get sick, I mean they have but definitely not as often as you'd think being around all those kids every day. I think over time their systems just get accustomed to it more than we do. Like doctors.

Pickings are frustratingly slim when you start wanting a modern, short wheelbase 4x4 around here.
My first world complaint for the day.
    Moving on.

Sometimes it be like that, I've been in and out of the hospital for the last 4 weeks for a family member and thankfully they've gotten really good at keeping the wards/nurses/equip separate. Didn't catch anything while I was visiting, and that was nearly daily for 8hrs a day.

Yeah my mom taught forever, didn't get colds/flu. I think she's had more colds since she retired. Her immune system was probably tip-top being stuck in classrooms for 40+ years.

The rsv is crazy this year. A relative is a teacher and was hospitalized for it. Kind of crazy how the system punishes kids/parents for staying home when they're sick so it all ends up spreading more

I’m on day 10 since symptoms appeared for Covid. Might be back to exercise this weekend.

Most of the symptoms were gone a week in but I’m still far too exhausted after the workday.
