What browser are you using? I've been having issues with Edge, when people post IG links. Surprisingly I got that one, but I'm thinking about switching to Firefox.

 

Had a buddy who was talking about suicide. We spent the night together thought we were good! It was 3am we had to be at work for 7 am.
Not even an hr after I went home he did it.
Still haunts me maybe I shouldn’t have gone home.
I have lost 3 friends to this shit!
I felt bad but they were selfish to do this to their family and people who cared.
Kinda just just makes me upset with them at the same time.

 

I took a class in the F.D. about it when I was in my teens, the instructor said "it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem". That has always stuck with me.

A guy next door to our work, super nice guy, hung himself not 30' from where I sit years ago. Guy I know killed himself last year, wife, 2 kids, 2 grandkids, great job, etc. He got sick and the medication changed him.

Like @Gunshot-6A said, if anybody needs anybody to talk to, reach out to someone.

It’s an easy out but just think about those around you first!
Don’t do this to the ones who care about you!!!!!!

When my dad passed TW was a huge help! I wasn’t in a good place!
But the people here all helped me get thru it!
Never would’ve thought a forum would be so helpful!
TW has a-lot of great people here!

 

It's a long flight but it's not that bad. My kids made the trip the first time when they were 11 and 12. This will be the first year we haven't gone since then.

 

Safari on iPadOS. I just checked my iPhone, it works fine there I can go straight to IG and it works fine.

 

Blaming yourself isn't the right thing to do either. I've known more suicide victims than I like to think about. Some people are bound and determined to go through with it, regardless of what people do to help, or how it will affect those they leave behind. I've been to dark places; I know what the feeling is like on both sides of the issue. We do the best we can for those that ask for help, we relish the victories, and we remember the defeats. But guilt for the victims lost to suicide should not be for the survivors to bare!

I don’t blame myself just think if I had stayed longer!
But it’s like stopping a thief you can only slow them down if they are committed.
Next door neighbor stood on a chair with a rope around his neck and shot himself.
He was ex military and committed I heard the shot. His teen age kids came and lived with us for a few months.

Huh... sure looks like about 100 degrees; it's definitely over 90...
