    Check build thread!
With what @3JOH22A said it does make me wonder though. What if the plan is for this literally to be the Tacoma, just open grill for ICE variants?

Regardless, just saw something online and wanted to share.

Oh, I'm not knocking you for posting it. All info is good in a speculation thread. I just don't buy it. As others said, the Taco is NA only, and that is in an area that has the Hilux. The two don't really overlap. Or at least they haven't yet.

IDK, but that "leak" was supposedly for Brazil, and there aren't Tacomas there. At least not as far as I know. I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

    Never admit that. Delete.

I don't know either. I am not trying to pin you to a position. Just chewing the fat here on something we are all just guessing about anyways.

I was going over older spy photos for any evidence of an exhaust crossover pipe, which would indicate a V6. However, looks like Toyota finally moved the crossover to behind the transfer case on the Tundra, so no leads there:

No worries. I just doubt it because the only places I see reporting it are motortrashbiscuit and carpoopscoops. Kinda like looking at the tabloids for info.

I guess the canister style oil filter will continue with the speculated new T4?

Is it just me or does the rear door/backseat area look smaller than current 3rd gen double cab? Maybe its just the angle of the photo.

I'm not sure which style you are exactly referring to, cartridge or spin on, but this is a pic of the suspected motor, and it has a spin on.

Well if that happens it would make oil changes possibly a little easier depending what would be in the way such as steering or suspension. Also, I would think there would be more room to work on the engine overall having a T4 as apposed to the current V6.

Hard to say. Maybe it got the same treatment as the Tundra and both cab sizes will have really similar doors, and this could be the smaller cab option?
