I don't think so, I'm not Dan, I did have to start on this project a bit late cause I've been driving back to Seattle every weekend for over a month. This is just to do the fuel pump,.I'll get that changed, paint a few things, and then the engine comes out. Gonna pull driveshafts tomorrow and get them rebuilt by my drive line guy.

I just don't like doing ujoints, but yeah something's weird with the slip yoke and the DC joint is like clicky. So I'll probably have a new shaft built with a spicer off the shelf DC joint (since no one rebuilds the total ones). This will be one of those things that I just pay to have done so that I don't have to do it and I can focus on the other stuff in the engine bay. Also I don't think I'm capable of balancing a drive shaft, I have a friend that claims he can do it on his lathe but I've yet to see him build a shaft that isn't a vibrating piece of shit. But thankfully we've got a driveline place near my house and he's really good and prices are reasonable.

Ujoints aren't very fun and I guess if someone's doing the other stuff anyway

It would be worth it to do the ujoints myself if the DC joint and slip yoke check out. I'll ask him to see what he thinks is up with it first. I'll do my high rpm launches in 4wd next time to share the load better.

If it doesn't work out... A bit high on mileage and price, but still surprised to see the listing up for 5 days. It looks like a well-kept truck.

Mileage isn't the deterrent there, it's the price.

That's an $8k rig give or take a grand.
