Sold - next time we need a brewery food meet.

Probably this time next year, then we'll be trying to remember "Where was that place? Oh, I don't know, maybe it was in Worcester?"

Final shaping and test fit. Just need to touch up the interior satin black before glue and exterior finish. Then to slice it open and get the hardware fitted.

Yes you did. I believe Sundays? They're even open Mondays when most are closed....

    Nah, we hunt them down...

Besides, it's 3 minutes up rt21 off the Pike. Super easy to get to, and TONS of parking. Outdoor seat, dog friendly(outside), etc.

2 ton weight limit sounds sketch, love the idea though

Lifted my truck to do my cmc with Eric's 1.5 ton jack. I agree it's at the upper end but I use both a 2 ton and 3 ton for our trucks and don't care which I grab..

Not sure it makes me feel warm and fuzzy but neither do jackstands at least some of the time.

More for the wife's car. Lots of time you need to jack from the same spot you need to then support.

I’ve never worried about my jack failing. How often does that even happen? Most of the time I’m jacking up under the rear diff or the front control arm. I don’t think the jack is even extended enough in either of those situations to install that device.

Neat, but not something I can see ever using. For tire rotations, I’m not getting under the truck so I wouldn’t bother with something like that. If I’m getting under the truck, a lot of the time the tires aren’t coming off so I use ramps. For the few times I need to get under the vehicle with the wheels off, I’d rather invest in good jack stands.

That? Nope. But, I have used C channel, to brace a jack, just like that...

I'd feel better making my own, at least I won't be worried about sloppy fit(which WILL have an impact on strength)

Hydraulic jack... I'd brace it, or Jack stand. A seal can fail at any time..

    Scissor jack... just stability.

If I’m working on something major like suspension, brakes or wheel bearings then it goes on a Jack stand and I keep the jack in place too. I slide the tire under the frame rail too as an added safety measure. If I’m just swapping tires or something then it’s Jack only.

I've never worried about my house catching on fire, doesn't mean I don't own a fire extinguisher......

After a friend had a house fire I'm a extinguisher everywhere guy. In the garage I've got one at each end so the fire is never between
me and an extinguisher. One in the kitchen, family room, big one in the bedroom and an escape ladder in the bedroom.

I hear ya......in the past 20 years, I dealt with one grease fire in my old apartment in 2004 and oven flame up in 2013 in my current house. I have 5 of them throughout my house, one in my shed and one in my truck. @AllTacosFloat , I actually like the idea......it is a little pricey to save 2 minutes of just getting some 3 ton jack stands underneath whatever we are working on but for something quick it is a cool idea.

I didn't go that nuts, but I do have a few scattered around the house. Specifically the kitchen and the basement near the boiler. I also keep one in my truck now after hearing a local member's story about a truck fire. I probably should have one in the garage, wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

Fully agree that it's a bit spendy. Thinking it's more for those times when you can't get a jack stand near where your jacking and it's a long way down. Certainly more a unibody application.
Our trucks are easy for jackstand locations.

Speaking of that I'm building a hearth for a wood stove this weekend and I should probably make a spot for a fire extinguisher somewhere....
