    That worked out well!
We use the trail maxx missions and they inspire what is likely to much confidence relative to actual grip hah.

I’ll probably try the Karoo 4 next, I think both have good street/dirt characteristics.

Dave - I saw this a few weeks ago and forgot to send it. I think you should build a badass Subaru. 2F6E78C8-74EA-49EB-ADDA-25FFF9CBF642.jpg

It sounded sweet too - definitely had some engine work.

    Just venting a little....

Grrrr! Poked my head into the Silverado this morning before work. Aaaaaand it's still leaking. It's really minor and always has been from what I can see. It's a few drops of water that, over time, soaked the carpet. Evidenced by where I could see the water on the dash and under the hood, I decided it was a firewall grommet. I mean, inside there was water dripping off of 4ga wiring I ran through the grommet. And it looked like there was water inside the grommet. And under the hood, there was a little on the grommet. Using my Sherlock-derived skills....

I put RTV on the grommet and covered that with silicon (Flex Shot) to fill in anything I couldn't see. Inside, I pumped more silicon into the grommet in hopes that it would fill the leak and the grommet. And I thought it was done. So, I'm not sure where to go from here. I can pump more silicon into the grommet, or something else. I'm wondering if maybe the windshield isn't leaking. I guess what I'm doing this weekend is breaking out the garden hose and making it rain. So annoying.

I forget, did you ever determine the source of the water? Rain? AC condensate?

I wish I was shitty enough to just sell it.

It's rain that's getting in. It's on the driver's side up under the dash.

You might as well sell it to caravana if the other option is to keep sinking money into it

Or maybe you are secretly falling in love with it and just can’t let it go.

So we can put this to bed: Carvana's offer is $4500. According to KBB, trade-in should be in the $7k range. And I'm willing to bet I could get $8k for a local sale. Other than the dent, the truck is in great shape. Inside is super-clean. Mechanically, the truck is amazing and I have a two-page list of stuff I've replaced over the last two years.

He can have it for $8k. I'll throw in the rest of the truck for free.
