I can tell you first hand that I use about $35 of electricity per month to charge my Tesla. I used to spend 2-300 a month on gas. Be careful with so called studies, they are all biased when it comes to EV's, on one side or the other. 11.29 for a 100 miles is so far off, they must be using the most expensive charger in the country.

You haven't priced horses or wheelwrights lately either, huh?

$950.00 + How about a Blue Roan Appaloosa, Mare $3000.00.

Same with my neighbor. Always under $40 month to go the same milage in his previous V6 Hyundai that cost almost $100 for the same milage.

I bought a gas truck, because there were no electric trucks that cost 30k dollars and had a track record of lasting 10+ years. I also dont like to sit around waiting for my phone to charge let alone a vehicle.

For trips I get that, but the time you spend at the pump is a lot more than the zero amount of time we spend at the charger, as it charges at night while we sleep.

There's already a Rivian vs Tacoma thread where luddites and boomers fight the future. No need for two.

It's a lot more than zero. We have a Tacoma and a Tesla. Sometimes I have to rush to fill up on the way to work when I forget to. Never happens with the Tesla.

Zero time, it has enough charge to make it through the day. Plug it in the next night, no biggie

I live on farm cows horses 100 acres the Tacoma is my "town" truck. I have a farm truck when I drive it I usually have a trailer attached with 5,000 lbs. of hay or a 7,000 lb. tractor. My brother has a Tesla he drives to an office His Tesla won't work for me at all, he does like my Tacoma but Not my farm truck

So, an EV works for his needs and not yours.
