seems like he ordered the wrong camper, or has the wrong truck because that doesn’t look like the proper fit, does it?

I'm no camper expert but I'm pretty sure they fit between the wheel wells which is why the bottom is skinny like that. I think that is what you are referring to anyways.

Congrats! You are now a qualified camper expert. Look for your sheepskin in the mail.

They all look that retarded on a Taco so that they can fit in the bottom of the bed. Was down riding at Bachelor over MLK weekend and you wouldn’t believe the number of dudes camping in those or their coveted go fast campers (lol!!!) at the bottom of the lifts. They all looked miserable AF. Shared a lift with one of them one morning and he admitted as much. Dude was frozen stiff (despite Amazon prime special diesel heater) and had a hell of a time the night before breaking down his entire camp just so he could get down into town to replace a broken binding. Got me thinking how many nights in our cozy hotel I could buy for the cost of one of them campers haha.

    OUCH...

Also, in regard to how many nights in a hotel.... my AT Habitat came out to about 57 bucks a night.

That's a bummer. I was hoping you were compensated for the photos.

Weren't even my photos. My buddy took them. He actually worked for Scout at the time. Scout asked if they could use the photos when they met me at the NW Overland Rally, and I was cool with it as long as they gave the photographer credit (and that was all he wanted, I checked with him). That auto evolution site is just some Romanian website that seems to pull pics and stuff from other articles and writes fluff pieces, probably for clickbait advertising dollars.

But does someone make your bed? Do you get a continental breakfast?

And that price per night gets lower every trip. Not to mention the places you can go where there aren't hotels.

How many of those did you enjoy a hot tub after riding all day :D?

IMHO, Tacoma is too small a truck for this, but different strokes for different folks. Glad you’re happy with yours :)

Lol! I can go there too. And set up my ground tent. I then I can still drive everywhere without breaking camp.
