I honestly think very small, light, nimble and quick electric vehicles used for the purpose of daily fifty mile or less commutes in large, congested cities have great potential but, at present, no takers.

The current focus seems to be on more bloated, oversized luxury vehicles that, to me, seem to defeat the purpose of alternatives. The Model S being one example.

Hauling, towing, and long distance travel, especially in vehicles the size currently preferred in the USA, not so much. I want all of these, so it’s gas for me.

I don’t know… I fed my horse a gallon of gas, and it only made it about 5 feet. Maybe could have done 20 feet if it wasn’t flopping around so much….

He has more patience and it works for him. It's not a d!ck measuring contest on fuel times.

How much do you pay per kwh for your home? We are at .14 and it has me thinking since used prices are dropping on electrics (or perhaps go plug-in). Also what did you pay to install a 220 charger assuming you went that route?

Thats because you cant get the snobs to buy in if it has the style, fit and finish of a Prius. once all the sheep see the Kardashians driving one they will want one also.

Like so many things, it’s style over substance. I guess they’ve gotta get it started somehow.

Agreed. Heck, just an aluminum 2.0 turbo would be riot.

If you are asking 0-100 on our 220V it's more like 3.5 hours. It charges every night or two for 30 minutes or so. There is no situation ever where you would charge from 0-100 so the question isn't applicable to any real life scenario. It's like asking how long it takes a tacoma to go from 0-150mph. Who cares, it's not important. If you don't agree with electric vehicles thats fine, but don't keep repeating all the fake bs you read online.
