    I'm not being audited by OSHA. :spy:

    If it's still showing charged, probably fine. K or ABC? I'd let it ride, still probably very effective.

    Once a year turn them upside-down and give them a few good hits with a rubber mallet.
    The powder can cake up otherwise

    There are companies that will recertify them if you want to go through the effort. I just keep an eye on the gage and replace them if they get low. They're just small units though. Commercially, we get them recertified / refilled when the charge shows low.

    Meh, the civic type R is starting around 45, the focus RS was a bit over 40 and that was pre pandemic. The Golf R starts around 45.

    These are decked out/performance cars. You can still get a cheap golf, heck same as tacomas - baseline they're like 30k ish for a 4 banger no frills. I wouldn't want to spend 50k for a hatchback, but they're still a dreamy car :D

    Yeah, wife was out of town when he bought it. She came home and shot him. Thing sat in the garage until she passed. Bones in the trunk are props from an old movie.

    I'd drive it... my wife would probably shoot me too.

    Yeah! There's one around town I've seen a couple times, I think I saw RI plates on it.

    @AllTacosFloat

    Ever watch Dirty Jobs on Discovery?
    We were watching recently and I said to Mrs. SpruceMica that Mike Rowe should spend a day shooting foam with John

    I have one in the basement and one outside the bedrooms on the ceiling, but my boiler is very old and my oil guy needs to seal it with cement every time he cleans it. So, I bought one with a digital read-out and mounted it lower near the boiler. I saw it go up to 1 PPM once for some reason - during the summer when the boiler wouldn't have run so I'm not sure why. But otherwise it's always been at 0 so it's nice reassurance that the boiler is indeed sealed well.

    The show came back last year and is back this year. Discovery Channel on Sunday nights.

    That is right up Mike Rowe's alley.
