shit yeah that's better than I get by a stretch and I rarely ever use it all each year. I get 80 hours PTO and 32 sick hours (also paid). So 112 total I guess

all our unused vacation PTO rolls over though per CA law, sooo unofficially we're supposed to use up our sick days first lol. Unused sick hours don't carry.

 

that's a great amount to be getting

 

Need to make a Harbor Freight run to get 1/2" NPT adapters.

Don't want to buy 1/2" NPT fitted lines since 1/4" NPT fittings exist on both the air compressor outlet and the plasma cutter end.

One water separator and the air filter are both 1/2" NPT fittings. Other two water separators (one shown) are 1/4" NPT.



Too cheap to buy one of those large air driers.

I'm happy, is all dropped into our accounts at the first of the year too, don't have to accrue or whatever the word is

 

Dayum they really do treat you guys right. We accrue ours 3ish hours per pay period.

Minutes before that pic was taken, she had taken a bite out of my wife's plant

 

They dump our vacation and sick in all on one day. We can carry up to 200 hrs of sick and 200hrs of vacation year to year. Next year I start getting 120hrs of vaca but right now I still only get 80 and 96hrs of sick a year. But I almost never use my sick sooo it usually just ends up getting to 200 and I take the rest as payment in an end of year check.

 

In her defense, the plant does look pretty succulent.

that's an awesome option to have, I think its fucked when companies in some states are allowed to just make your PTO disappear if you don't use it. At least give the option of taking it home as a bonus check at the end of the year, that's your PTO not theirs.

They changed it some time in the last couple years, they also match 401k up to 6% which I feel is good

 

are you guys hiring, I can draw up some engineering plans....they might not make any sense whatsoever but they'll be pretty
