But no, you'd be surprised what you can actually get to grow here with the right conditions haha. People just don't do it because it requires more effort than watering twice a year.

We have a lot of the creosote here too in fairness but yeah... my neighbor thought it was the coolest thing to have a sideyard full of Cholla when I lived down there. Those fuckers fly in a haboob
