It is a long time, from what I've read people do both sides in 5-6 hours. Meh, it is what it is. I'm not young anymore so I take my time.

That is what I was thinking, and then I pad it by half again because of the inevitable cluster fluk that I create... 8 hrs. sounds about right. I might go use my neighbors lift though-to damn cold and snowy around here right now. What I REALLY need to do is be thinking about finishing my skid plate... because MOAB!

Oh there will be some mods all right
See I've been thinking, for people who have rubbing issues, they should just put chains on and go for a vigorous drive. Tell me why that wouldn't work

I had a 1977 BMW 2002 that got some sheet metal reconfigured due to ill fitted chains going over Donner Pass back around 1991 or so. Please don't do that to your Taco.

To further add to the snow discussion from a couple days ago... this is the entrance to my garage. I have a 3" lift and 33's. That is a full belly drag and pumpkin dent coming out tonight-first trip out of the garage all week... We have a LOT of snow up here.

Going to my last pickup today, I look over at the southbound lanes and see this old school bus painted white with a huge Hodag on the side. Immediately thought of @Larry Dangerfield.

This has me looking forward to the snow run in 3 weeks! I'm curious what conditions we'll have.

I'll be heading back to the cold tomorrow. A month wasn't even enough time to do what I wanted to do down here. I can't wait to have my own place down here!

Take your time, we are looking at 3-6in of snow for sat into sun. And then a deep freeze next week.
