    I've read a few posts of people recommending the OEM batteries since they're the best option overall, for cost/ratings, and longevity. I have about 3 years on mine. No issues, and the solar panel now - it cranks right over.

    Yeah! It was posted I THINK the day of, but it might have been just after. Had a picture of it on the listing if I remember correctly. I had a chuckle.

    @Rexfordian13

    Back to the Sienna battery issue...does the Sienna have a fan for the 12v battery? Not the fan for the hybrid battery, the regular battery. I ask because our Odyssey has a cooling fan for the battery case. I'm wondering if the Sienna has the same setup and if the fan could have failed and the 12v is overheating

    Went to Town Fair Tire today to get new front tires for my wife's '07 Highlander. We're replacing it in the spring and I decided to go with the least expensive tires that fit. I also got the four wheel alignment that was half price. I think that it's supposed to be half price if you buy four tires, however the website let me select it anyway. So, that all went well and the car drives a lot better and doesn't pull to the right. Yay.

    When I got home, i decided to try and find a rattling noise that's been coming from the rear (inside) of the car.

    I took out the 247,832 items that my wife has stored in the "way back" I know that she hasn't cleaned that out since at least 2019 because the program from the no longer existing Lowell Spinners baseball game we took the grand kids to was still there.

    I also took the cargo cover out. And the plastic tray with the tire changing tools. I didn't take the jack out because it's firmly imbedded in the plastic padding and strapped into place. I took the rear strut covers off and checked for loose bolts. I put the way back seat belts into their proper storage position. I looked under the car for loose exhaust (it's amazingly tight).

    All to no avail. I can no find the source of that rattle. The only thing that I can think to do now is have her drive around while I try to locate the source and see if it's something I can fix.

    It totally reminds me of this,

    Wife's Odyssey had a rattle in the back that was driving me nuts. It ended up being the seat belt thingy, the part that inserts. It was out of place and tapping against the plastic panel next to the seat. Sometimes it's the simplest thing.

    That was one of the things I checked. Both of them were just hanging and not in their cubbies. I had to look in the manual to see how they were stored, but it didn't make any difference. I'm sure it's something stupid, but I'm more stupid because I can't find it.

    I don't think it's something under the car, but maybe. Maybe when the car is driving down the street the strut mounts will move or something. One bolt (10mm of course) to pop the strut covers off, so it's a simple fix. I'd hate to have to put new struts in though.

    Check the sway bar end links, if it sounds mechanical. My wife's camry needs them, but since I know what it is, it's waiting until it's sunny and 70° out instead of dark and 30° :D

    I'll have to look and see if it even has a rear sway bar.

    What's odd is that from the front it sounds like something clunking up near the roof. That's why I want to sit back there. If I'm not too lazy, I'll take her stuff out, flip up the third seat and listen from there while she's driving.

    Good idea, I’ll check ours when I get home. It’s funny how little attention I pay to her car.
    I’m waiting here if there is an official diagnosis from Toyota on my buddies van. I think it’ll have something to do with that TSB you sent over because the jumped it a few times when this first happened in the fall. I’ll keep you posted, and thanks for the suggestions.

    Speaking of strange vehicles. I saw a Hilux Surf on 495 yesterday. I’ve never seen one of those before.
