2WD Tacos, what mods have you done or want to do to your truck? Feel free to show off your builds as inspiration.

It’s not a rock crawler or able to ford rivers but gets me to where I want to go.F6410705-F1F0-46A6-BC84-3C322E49A7BD.jpg 45CF82BE-3874-41A9-8087-60D8E3E7FD9E.jpg

35000 miles in three years with regular tire rotations and no problem. Have about half life left and starting to dry rot but I’m going to drive these tires into the ground.

Solid! I’ve been considering Falken Wildpeaks but am open to suggestions. It seems most choices are KO2s and Wildpeaks.

Have had mine since May of 2021 before the market when haywire and you could still get a couple of grand off MSRP. Ended up with a long bed because that's what they happened to have with the options I wanted. The extra room has worked out well on a few occasions. Nothing crazy on the mods - KDMax tune, Meso Total Tail Stage 1, TRD skid plate, Pro grille, 4Runner Pro wheels, WeatherTech bug shield, hard tonneau, predator steps, and a bunch of cosmetic stuff on the interior to get rid of the chrome. Also added the Michelin LTX AT2s (stock size for the Sport). Suspension is 100% stock and will stay that way. The most off-road it sees is dirt, gravel, and fire roads. As @Tacomike18 said, not a rock crawler by any means but it gets me where I want to go without giving up pavement comfort, which is where it spends 90% of its time.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I am a huge 2wd nut but happened across a lonely RC 4x4. I’ve got my eye on a black ‘12 RC 2wd, auto. We’ll see; it is gorgeous but the price reflects it

Those 4Runner wheels look super clean! Did you buy them from a dealer, or OEM retailer? I am on the verge of doing at KDMAX install on my TRD Sport as well.

I got them online from Serra Toyota back in November of 2021. They were having a sale at the time. Total OTD for the 4 wheels and new black lugs for all of them was $771 delivered. As far as the tune it took me a long time and a lot of research to decide to go for it. Since there were no tuners near me (the closest was in Tampa, a 3 1/2 hour drive each way) I decided to buy the remote kit and tune it myself. The only regret I had was not having done it sooner. It's a completely different truck tuned vs. stock. I was so impressed I decided to become a KDMax tuner since there was no one in the area.

After I have likewise done my own similar research, for me, it’s a no brainer. I was looking at doing CAI and thought, a KDMax tune and new air filter would be way more productive. I will have to keep an eye out for those wheels, or something similar. Like half the cost of other names.
