hey - FWIW - I also sent a note to Odyssey

    here is what I got:

"Our Extreme batteries are made in all 3 of our manufacturing facilities...1 in Warrensburg, MO and 2 in Springfield, MO.

Yes they are essentially identical to the X2 Power batteries that NorthStar has been making for Batteries Plus for years. All X2 batteries are made at the Springfield factories."

    Hopefully that helps folks out....

Ordered a 24f X2 from batteries plus. Found a coupon on their website for 20% off worked for the X2 !! Edit they capped the discount at $40. Still slightly better than the standard 10%
    Coupon code was : AUTO20
    Valid 1/6 - 1/25
    Just a FYI for everyone.

Has anyone ordered the adjustable unit from HKB? I only see the fixed on ebay and having the same checkout issues on their website.

I think the adjustable is on backorder. It was when I ordered the fixed version a few weeks ago. Super fast shipping from Australia though!

Might shoot HKB an email about the site payment issue and see if they have another option like invoicing directly.

Tried this because why not, and it says "Validation Error: Promotion has not started. Please wait until 2/1/2023"
... I think I can wait a couple of days!

I did, but that was years ago. At that time, I had no trouble ordering, but shipping took a while.

I sent them an email asking about that and the only response was, "Be some time before I do a run, will let you know when available".

If you have multiple stores around you, shop around for the best price. Mine fluctuated as you see:

It's sad, but official. The last of my AGM batteries have failed. It will be used to power my Ham Radios for the remainder of their life, like the Other AGMs. I am going back to flooded type batteries.

5-6 years seems like a pretty good lifespan?

Have been running a NorthStar Group 31M battery in my 2010 Taco for ~7 years now. The resting voltage is starting to drop (~12.4V an hour after charging), so I'm shopping around for a new battery and saw this thread. I'll definitely get the X2 version, and came across this voltage booster since the AU version is out of stock:

    https://voltageboosterpro.com/

I emailed the company about a version for the Tacoma, and they're supposed to launch the Gen 2 Taco version this quarter. No idea how they work as compared with the AU version.
