Good morning my Maryland friends, I have a bumper crash bar and brand spanking new OEM grill, minus surround, up for dibs if anyone wants them. I had the body shop order me a Pro grill and they f’d up and ordered the regular one and were unable to send it back. It’s NEW and from Toyota, not a cheap knock off. They don’t sell for that much on the open market, not going to hold out for any gain on it, my gift to you.
Everything is off a 2013 Sport 4x4 and in perfect working order, had an ARB installed and have no use for the crash bar now. I do not have the accompanying original bumper, that was decimated by a deer (air bags did NOT deploy). I will meet up to 10 minutes from where I live in Mount Airy if someone wants. Hate tossing functional OEM parts. Let me know!

 

I guess I should buy a 2013 Taco then just to acquire this... lol.

Weren't you doing masonry work full time?

I was taking an electrical code update class. Back home now.

 

I was working for a company that did concrete repair and epoxy flooring, masonry and other stuff. I enjoyed it, but there was a safety issue that came up so I decided to leave. I was sad about leaving, but I think it was the right call and doing that job helped me get where I am now.

Sad but so true! Not sure what happened on your job, but I see stuff like this all the time on a daily basis… if OSHA or State/County inspectors were on every job site full time, the construction industry would be shut down a minimum of 25% (that number is probably way low)! Companies as a whole always instill and promise that safety and their employees are the number one goal. That can’t be further from the truth. They preach that on pen and paper, and reiterate it at meetings… but once on the job, the only goal is getting done ASAP to get paid ASAP. Companies always care about the dollar first! Everything else is just an afterthought until it becomes an issue… then they change their story, and blame you. Catch 22!

Anyway, I’m glad you got out and found a new passion Mollie! The boards are beautiful… maybe a TW group buy is in the near future ! Seems like you’ve sparked a good bit of interest in them.

You can use a food grade mineral oil to keep the cutting boards hydrated and bacteria free. It has kept the ones that I built 10 years ago looking fresh.

 

So you have options?

 

I want to make it into a garage lol.

Last year I negotiated the price on this cabin down to $25k without seeing the inside. Now that I've been scrubbing to somewhat get it clean I think I should've chewed him down to $15k. My shoulders & forearms are killing me and I'm no where near done. I should have @Tonymontana up here helping because he's probably gonna be using it lol!
