Mouse nest under my intake manifold. Chewed my knock sensor wires. Just south of 1K to fix at the dealer. (had to pull the manifold.) The dealer said it's not uncommon.
This truck is a daily driver, so no one is safe!!

see, this is why you don't buy a new model truck until it's been out for a few years.

I think there is no difference in reliability whatsoever.

I have a weird complaint I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing and if there is a fix.

My window weather strips felt is ALWAYS wet. So if I use my window I will have a dirty window as soon as I rile it back up.

Never had this problem on any other vehicle

find the source of the water, is the best solution. This sounds environmental and not something that has gone wrong.

I've taken it to the dealership for 2-3 recall notices but never actually experienced problems from the things being fixed. I don't have to put a lot of miles on my truck (less than 8k per year), but it still drives great and the interior and exterior have held up well.

This same thing happened to me with less than 200 miles on the odometer. Dealer fixed it for free thankfully.

You need one of these "mouse deterrent devices" about 6 inches of a coyote tail tied to hood support My dogs can smell it I'm sure mice can to so far no rat crap in engine bay20221213_072156.jpg

Tried that, caught a coyote humping my bumper that same night. He looked mean so I thought best to let him finish before running him off.

60k miles in and the only thing that has gone "wrong" is the insanely annoying chirp of the blower motor. Had the dealership look at it a few times, they refuse to replace it, but they take it all apart to lubricate the bearing.

    2016 2.7L SR5 4x4 access cab here. 69k original miles.
All new fluids at 50k m, oil changes at 5k miles.

The only thing that ever went wrong with this vehicle was a leaking 3rd brake light about 5 years in, that light assembly was replaced with an updated part number.

Also one morning I experienced the classic toyota vvt-i cold start gear rattle for about 4 seconds, have not been able to replicate it since that one morning.

Oh and my only CEL in 69k miles was due to an improperly seated gas cap.
