Not trolling at all , just asking a question since it seems like this thread is off topic anyway

From what I hear, its supposed to look a lot like the new tundras, just smaller

That is one fugly front end look on the new Tundy.

I hope TOYOTA exercises common sense by not using it. That look seems to have been taken from the ’05 Dodge Ram which may have been in style way back then, but it's long past in taste lol!

One bad apple in the fleet is bad enough, they need to diversify the portfolio and reduce the risk. In other words, don’t put all your eggs in one (look) basket.
And I hope they don’t put that big screen TV in a small space where it can be easily damaged by a pet or child.

I saw a magnetic gray Capstone this morning that didn’t look terrible. The best looking Tundies I see around here are the all black TSS editions.

Do you know if there were/are plans to put a V8 into the 3rd Gen Tundra?

Pretty sure the 8 was dropped due to the emission standards for 2024...they would face fines if they keep using it . But I'm sure he might have more insite

I think the new toyota sequoias have a much better front end compared to the new tundra. Someone has already done a conversion.

Just like the Tacoma, you have to finish building the truck yourself. Does anyone like the Tundra front bumper grille combo that Toyota is currently using? I could probably live with it if I wanted to drive the new Tundra.

Now the Sequioa front end with a seperate steel front bumper would probably be the best direction for the new Tundra. It's not a Camry, it's a 1/2 ton truck. I think everyone else is putting a steel front bumper on their 1/2 tons. Not sure about Ram, but they do use a seperate bumper that is not part of the front fascia.

The rear bumper also needs to be redesigned as a wrap around piece with steel caps.

Toyota tried something different, and it didn't work out.

The black Tundra's definitely look a little better as it cuts down the contrast in the front,

How a car looks is the biggest reason people buy: study
“J.D. Power's latest Auto Avoider Study found styling – interior and exterior – were the top two factors that caused consumer to buy or avoid models.
Reliability finished third, with 55 per cent of new-vehicle buyers citing it as a leading reason, compared with 51 per cent in last year's report and 48 per cent in 2013. It was also a deal-breaker for 17 per cent of shoppers, compared with 14 per cent in the 2015 report”.
    https://www.theglobeandmail.com/glo...gest-reason-for-buying-study/article28695933/

I’m in the minority, I only really care about its reliability and durability, and color that is easy to maintain, no black for me lol!

From what I hear, it's supposed to look a lot like the new Tundras, just smaller. But... They're going to shrink everything on the Tacoma but keep the grille the same size as the Tundra. The grille will become part of the windshield. Like the whole front end is just grille. The hood scoop...just more grille.

So much room for raptor lights. Will probably be able to install three or four sets of them in there.
