Gotcha buddy, if you wanna get you an EV truck and are rich enough to be able to buy a brand new one when the battery craps out in a few short years, more power to ya! I’ll stick to the tried and true ICE tacoma that will last me for many decades to come. I will not waste my time arguing with ignorance. We’re all friends on here, let’s not get carried away LOL

    have a good one man

If the battery craps out in a few short years I’ll get a free replacement under warranty. You’re not arguing with ignorance, you’re arguing in ignorance by ignoring the facts of the matter.

charging and discharging batteries is what kills them. After “x” number of cycles, they will be unusable. Most manufacturers claim 100-200k miles. Since I work for a living, my 16 taco has 150k miles on it. If I would’ve had an electric truck, I’d be having to start looking at and buying a brand new vehicle which are in excess of $30k. See my perspective? They are just not economical for us working class.

Honestly, I only do it because people are generally completely ignorant of the actual facts. While I do enjoy my EV truck I openly acknowledge that they are not a solution for everyone and there are somethings that an ICE truck simply does far, far better.

According to teslas website, their MAX warranty for battery goes to 8 years or 150k miles, whichever comes first. I’ve passed 150k miles after the 7 years of using my truck. I couldn’t imagine having to buy a new truck right now. It’s just ridiculous. That’s why they are NOT economical. I also live in the country where there are NO charging stations.

Then the solution is easy - don’t buy one. The batteries last far longer than you think though.

Formula 1 will be running 100% sustainable fuel in their 2026 hybrid engine formula , ICE vehicles aren't going away anytime soon , manufacturers just won't be selling new ones after 2030

you’d sooner see hell freezing over. Companies will only sell EVs if their customers buy them. If nobody buys them, they ain’t gonna make them. Simple as that. Follow the money my man.

I've heard NASCAR is going all electric. What's Formula 1 doing?
