I originally had ome Dakar heavy duty leaf packs and my suspension setup was bilstein 6112 5160, I have a 4banger single cab so the front end is a lot lighter than that of a double cab v6 so it lifts it a lot higher, that being said I have a go fast camper on my ass end so I didn’t like the fact it looked like it was squatting/level

I was planning on going with stage 2s as I thought stage 3 would be overkill but searching on here and talking to the guys at deaver (I went to their shop in Santa Ana to buy them) we went with the stage 3s

So the ome heavy duty dakars were about 700 plus if I remember the stage 3s were 1378 with ubolts and bushings and I’m sure tax

now for the weight, my go fast camper they told me at gfc is about 250 to 275 lbs (should have weighed my truck before and after)
I usually carry most of my camping crap 24/7 in bins in the back but it can’t be more than 200lbs much closer to 100lbs if that, i am planning to build a drawer setup/ sleeping platform in the bed of the truck

Ride quality, my truck being a single cab 2.7 4x4 is light as hell with the ome Dakar they felt loose and almost skatey in my ass end with the deavers the ride is a lot more solid and planted
The snow pic is with ome and the other pic is with the deavers

Dakar HD on that seems like a super stiff and rough ride if you didn’t have a GFC camper on. I think a medium pack could’ve been sufficient enough and go with a softer spring in the front
