Doing a little experiment for a little bit. May not have the right conditions to evaluate.

I made a water lint filter for our dryer. Going to try and use the dryer heat to help warm
The unheated section of the bottom floor and add moisture to the air to help the hybrid water heater
    Be more efficient.
Maybe too late in the season but I’ll look it over and make changes for next year.

Well, only one coyote today, and I didn't get a picture. I actually didn't even see it. One forest? (we call them bushes up here :alien:), one bush, has a road cut thru it. We call it the knife road, and the two bushes are the knife north and knife south. We spent ALL DAY chasing coyotes back and forth between the north and south and only managed to kill one. :rofl:Its thick and nasty on both sides, and they know exactly where to run. Their sense of smell is incredible. I saw one angling towards me thru the trees from about 100 yds away. At 80 yds, he stopped like he had hit a wall and turned around and took off. I knew my wind was wrong where I was for that direction, but sometimes after we get in we find they have made it to a different area than where we saw the tracks go in and don't have time to adjust. All in all some good clean fun.

Helpful hint… laptop drives are glass with metal coating - they shatter. Desktop hard drives are aluminum with metal coating. SSDs are memory chips in RA format… more work to kill… better to crush or degauss. Device shredders are FUN!

I never had to worry about it before my furnace change. I ran the hot water through the furnace coil so the furnace ran anytime I needed hot water or to maintain hot water temp. So the boiler was hot all the time heating the backside of the basement. Now I have a hybrid hot water tank so the furnace never runs for hot water.

Heat/moisture suck here… however, I have occasionally seen these run for apartments without a good external wall. Typical units are elongated rectangles to fit between washer/dryer.

We put man on the moon not even 10 years out of the vacuum tube era, over 50 years later we still can't reliably put text on a piece of paper. :smash:

I have red lined my blood pressure more times with printers than I care to remember. ... :rocket: ...

wow, 40-some pages in a week.

all these newfangled printers, now my struggle is getting something to agree to print... one app only works for pdf's, another might decide to work for word doc's. so i need the right app to talk to the other app, through the right network, talking through the right webserver, to maybe print if everything feels like it.

The best sign of a good IT department is… you don’t even know they are there. Everything just works. Often they are reminded to break something before the holidays to remind you of their presence and why you need them, before they try and lay them off as unnecessary.

    A few.
One of the companies I used to work for had the office in the old Union Station building. When the printer that drove everyone nuts finally got decommissioned I wanted to put it on the tracks and let the General Electric B40-8 take care of it.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I have been doing that for many years in the Shop

As .soon as I put the input cord on the dryer I will be doing it again.

The cord sits on top for about 4 years.
