toolbox in the front of the bed to mount the battery in, maybe?

I was thinking about putting the ARB in an ammo can or something. I don't really like that or any of the spots I can think of though.

I'm demoing the rear seat metal thingy and making a larger box to house the batteries, electrical, and compressors.

I'm just picturing him lining up to do the deed and then the camera shot changes and it's that little mop dog flying through the goal posts on a football field.

You kinda have to with DeWalt tools cause their batteries are so shitty. Actually the DeWalt tools are shitty too, just throw em out and this solutions doesn't need to exist. I would like to run my makita weed whacker on the Ryobi batteries cause I have tons of them and nothing that uses the

Yeah I'm going to be in the market for a new platform this summer. Everything I have seen is all the old DeWalt stuff I have is better than the new lithium ion line.

I feel like this the fast way to burning your shit down.

The charge and discharge control circuitry is important with lithium batteries. Otherwise they can become fire hazards. Like using these converters on a charger could be catastrophic. Makitas have a secondary pin connector that the charger uses to analyse and load level each cell in the pack, bypassing that would shorten the battery life and could cause a cell or cells to run away. Discharging too far (toolsnthat don't know their pack) can cause batteries to runaway when next charged as well.
