I covered them with tape and we have some more rain coming so I’ll be watching to see where it leaks. I’m gonna run an extension cord and my dehumidifier I think on Tuesday to suck the rest of the water out.

Mine looked fine too. If you dry out that area under your backseat where I'm guessing some water has settled, put the plug back in too, then hose down the rear window for a bit, that should tell you. I ended up replacing my window as well as the gasket and I used some silicone in a couple spots to just be safe. It was the most annoying leak to deal with. I ended up pulling the interior anyway and then could see the water rolling down the back of the cab which really confirmed it.
Replacing a window and gasket isn't fun though, if you go that route just get a shop to do it. I won't do it again anyway haha.
From what I could see your door seals look ok. Even with ripped old ones, no water gets in from there on mine.

I think i like bitching more than I like having working shit. I must because I keep spending time on junk instead of just moving on

Thank you bro, I appreciate it. I’m gonna plug those holes and then I’m going to go pull hopefully two Toyota power steering pumps to replace my failing one. I’m too broke right now to get a new one so gonna try with these. When I’m at those trucks they are both extra cabs I’ll try and steal a gasket from em

Lol, this is the Low Range off-road standalone elocker harness. It pulled wires out of the pins because they weren't well crimped so I popped the pins, re crimped, and put it back together. i dunno what's going on, I guess I should test the motor.

Maybe I'll just spend $500 on the cable conversion for my sanity

Building my downstairs for me to live in is taking priority over the truck. I would have moved in already but the noise from upstairs was too much, so just spent a metric fuck ton of money on

    2x4 framing
    Insulation
Hat channel 20 ga on the framing
    Another layer of insulation
    RSIC-1 clips at @5 dollars a pop x 80
    20 sheets of 5/8 quietrock at 75 a sheet
30 tubes of green glue at 30 a tube
20 sheets of 5/8 regular drywall at 30 a sheet
8 tubes of acoustic sealant to seal the corners of each sheet
8 sheets of acoustic puddy to wrap the gang boxes for the lights
    Tons of mud.

Plus a week and a half of 100 dollars an hour x8 x7 for labor of two dudes.

    So pretty broke right now

    Yeah man good luck.
Just FYI, I did have water along the sides of the doors as well (under the plastic piece) so that had originally confused me. But it was the water coming in from the rear window rolling down the back and then going down the sides as well. You can see in the photos, a lot of my little steel pieces back there had rusted from the water that had been subtly coming in over the years.

Then water would sneak down these wire routing grooves alongside the doors...go the whole way to the front carpet area on super heavy storms
