Got my 6112/5160s put on yesterday. I got a set of 1.5" Icon AAL for the rear. I forgot to take measurements before the lift but after the lift, driver front is 36.5, driver rear is 37, passenger front is 37 and passenger rear is 38 and this is with a full tank. Idk what stock measurements were but I don't feel like I got the full 1.5" in the rear, at least not the driver side. The bilsteins almost completely eliminated the nose diving when braking and body lean when corner or taking a turn. Body feels real tight when turning now and the truck rebounds almost immediately over speed bumps now. Every photo I've taken makes the truck look like it's higher up front than the rear but my tape measure tells me otherwise. I'm planning on getting "pizza cutter" 33s as my next expensive mod, potentially the Falken Wildpeak MT01 because I've heard they're surprisingly quiet for a MT and they're the cheapest 255/85r16s on America's Tire website. They're also the cheapest off road tires in that size on their website, too. 20230128_172923.jpg

I literally just ordered a box of them from Amazon. Supposedly they are pretty universal.

Today..I did this! After feeling the non TRD skid plates that came stock with my truck, i can’t believe they can get away with calling those skid plates

Got a second hand bed mat, and scored a hella deal on a Amp Research bed extender, added some Husky mud flaps (since I live on a dirt road these new Coopers pick up every single rock on this road and play a song on the bottom of the truck going down the highway) and swapped clear to yellow fogs. Also put in Z Precision cup holder. Good times.

that’s actually not true. Part wise the shop probably knows what they are so they call them splash shields but if you looks at Toyotas customer facing information they even call them skid plates on the trd off road and sr5. They also call them skid plates in their spec you can get at the dealer.

Holy cow! I bet that thing moves people out of the way! I got the sharptones with the intention of adding the supertones later.
As-is they do a good job. Nice and loud, plenty obnoxious. Just had to paint the yellow grilles black though

Before and after changing out hood from normal off-road to scoop. Member here helped me find one on offer-up which was black. It already had the raptor lights in it so i took about 10 minutes to wire them in. Luckily I already had a package of add-a-fuse’s. Cost me $1k for the hood to be prepped and painted and they also painted my rear bumper end caps. There was a dent in the hood that they had to fix. The hood was black to start. They did an amazing job with the paint. Small body repair shop called Simply Bedliners in Surprise.

Another interesting thing is how hard it is to color match lunar rock. They initially tried the formula that toyota provides but it was off. They even called Toyota and it still wasn’t coming out right. I ended up leaving them my tailgate and after about 16 paint cards they had it perfectly matched. The bumper caps match my truck perfectly but when we put them next to my wife’s 2022 Lunar Rock 4 runner they are not a match. Just shows that Lunar Rock is different depending on the vehicle and the plant that the vehicle is coming out of.

I did this two weeks ago, but I went with the TacoVinyl grille/garnish/camera bracket option ($270). After I installed it, I changed my mind and decided I wanted the OEM grille. I change my mind a lot, unfortunately, lol. So I got the same OEM grille and OEM bracket you listed, but I was able to get them cheaper ($185.27 & $2.44) from a somewhat local dealer's site. I even got free shipping with a code on their site. Now I'm deciding if I should go with a used OEM garnish or the Taco Garage one. My TacoVinyl garnish has really shiny silver paint on it...do you find that to be true with the Taco Garage garnish too? I want it to be subdued like the OEM garnish, but I guess I could always have it tinted? Now I'll need to sell my TacoVinyl grille...

I am in no way, shape, or form a great fab guy or welder.. but I built my own swing out today.. the 4xInnovations hinge is an absolute unit. I’m not done with it but I am done for today. This is it so far. Drivable and functional for now, hopefully finish tomorrow or so.

I only did the passenger side one; not sure if it's my truck or my driveway, (or a bit of both) but that's the low point when I back in to park.

In answer to the "why?" query: if you don't have a tonneau cover or cap, and live in an area with lots of vegetation, those small drain holes block very quickly. The larger holes let more debris come out, and 12 mm (1/2") diameter seems to work about right.
